A starting ground for life science start-ups
A key objective of the cluster is to create a culture of open innovation that will put the UK’s life science community at the forefront of the global biomedical sector.
Together, Kadans Science Partner and Stevenage BioScience Campus will develop a campus ecosystem for collaboration within the life science sector and to take it to the next level.
Golden Triangle
Stevenage BioScience Cluster is located in the so-called ‘Golden Triangle’ between Cambridge, London and Oxford. This is one of the world’s leading concentrations of companies and research institutes in biotechnology and life sciences. With direct access to the A1 motorway via junctions 7 and 8, the campus has good connectivity for researchers who travel by car. Stevenage is also well connected to major hubs. For example, Cambridge is just 40 minutes away by train, and King’s Cross in London can be reached in less than 20 minutes. For colleagues and partners further afield. Moreover, Luton and Stansted international airports can be reached within 40 minutes, and Heathrow within 1 hour.
